While working in an Elementary I program, Cathie became increasingly frustrated with looking for her planning and record keeping materials. She wanted something that was all together in one place, easy to find, and easy to understand. Thus the Montessori Teacher Planners were born. After sharing the planner with the head of the Montessori training program at the local college, a partnership was formed that led to the creation and development of the Montessori Guide Planners for Early Childhood, Elementary I, and Elementary II.
